If you have spider veins you want them gone – you want to be able to wear what you like without having to think about what it reveals to the world. Most of us on the verge of getting spider vein treatment – and forking out our hard earned cash – want to SEE the results we could expect. Absolutely nothing convinces and reassures like seeing the results of successful treatements. So on this page we have collected some before and after photos from spider vein treatments as examples of what you might expect.
But photos can lie…
Of course, if you’re a real cynic, you might ask how do I know these spider vein photos haven’t been altered to look better? It’s so easy for web images to be changed nowadays. Well the truthful answer is – you don’t know for sure – although you can use your common sense when looking at an image. If the spider veins have been airbrushed out, chances are a whole let else has gone as well – the skin will look unreal, totally free of blemishes.
Not if the source is reliable…
The answer is to only look at images from a reliable source - If the image comes from a reputable clinic with years of experience treating spider veins they are unlikely to lie about the results they achieve. They simply don’t need to and they would have gone out of business very quickly. This sort of research can be a time-consuming process so we did it for you – all these images come from what we believe are reputable spider vein treatment clinics. How do we decide whether they are ‘reliable’? – we used some of the points listed in our checklist for finding a good spider vein clinic.

How else can I check out results?
You can do other things to find out how well spider vein treatments work . You can ask people you know – are you aware of anyone having the kind of spider vein treatment you are considering. It may be a friend, a relative, a friend of a friend, someone at work. Remember spider veins are very common – someone you know has probably dealt with the problem before.
Of course, they are unlikely to start telling the world all about their spider veins so you need to ASK AROUND – let people know that you’re considering this – someone probably knows someone who has already had treatment for their spider veins. If you can find someone – talk to them about their experiences and look at the results. Don’t be influenced too much by one person’s experience. You can learn a lot from what they say but it doesn’t mean that your spider veins are the same and that your treatment experience will match theirs.
